Looking for inspiration? Or perhaps a perfect summer evening listening to jazz? At this concert, you’ll find both. Musicians who have earned acclaim on jazz stages across Europe, collaborating together as the Mindaugas Stumbras Quintet, will be performing his original works.

The colours of the world, images, meaningful conversations, memorable moments – these are the sources of inspiration for Stumbras himself, coming together in a moving, subtly Northern-sounding programme. The performer admits that writing music is like meditation for him: “I write in one way when the sun’s streaming through the window, and differently when a snow storm’s howling outside or it’s pouring rain”.

What will this encounter with Stumbras inspire in you? The answer lies at the Bernardine Gardens!

Programme features original works by Mindaugas Stumbras

Duration: approx. 70 min.
