July 11 – August 30

St. Christopher is the patron saint of travellers and the city of Vilnius. Thus, the essence of the Christopher Summer Festival is already encoded in its title – a broad (both in terms of geography and genres and styles) musical panorama and a sense of belonging to Vilnius.

Ever since its inception in 1995, the festival seeks to open up the capital city’s spaces and present music created in various countries of the world, music that has its roots in different cultures and arises from unique experiences. That is why, in the events held each year in July–August, classical traditions meet innovations, young talents can join experienced performers, and localism meets internationalism. These intersections form a musical space friendly to the connoisseur, the amateur and the curious explorer alike. Simply – more of the world of music.
