A French picnic in the Vilnius Old Town? For sure! Make yourself comfortable at the Bernardine Gardens where you’ll be immersed in the jazz-flavoured works of Eddy Louiss, Richard Galliano and Edith Piaf. You’ll feel as if you’ve just stopped to take a rest somewhere in Paris. Or maybe somewhere in fragrance and colour filled Provence… This mood will be created by two impressive multi-instrumentalists!
Vytenis Danielius has proven his mastery in music at more than 30 international accordion competitions. He won prizes at all of them, with his most striking victory being the Castelfidardo prize in the virtuoso varieté category.
Leonardas Bėkša is the head of the Department of Jazz at the Vytautas Magnus University Academy of Music. A universal musician, composer and arrangement author, at his concert you may see him playing not just the keyboards, but also the trumpet, double bass or bass guitar.
Combining their talents, these musicians have prepared arrangements especially for this performance and promise an enchanting evening of French jazz, topped off with an element of surprise!
