EDGARAS MONTVIDAS SINGS. A concert to mark 20 years of creativity

July 10, 19:00 | St Catherine's Church

EDGARAS MONTVIDAS (tenor)
SIMON LEPPER (piano, Great Britain)

Instead of impressive decorations, we have Baroque stucco. Instead of a overwhelming symphony orchestra – a piano. Instead of aggrandised characters, we have the man himself. Vocalist, Edgaras Montvidas, who’ll be celebrating 20 years of the art of singing!

Even though he could just as well be marking this anniversary anywhere, from the
Musikverein in Vienna to the Symphony Hall in Boston, this time we’ll be hearing the sweetheart of the most prestigious concert halls in the world at our very own St Catherine’s Church.

Music critics do not hide their admiration for Montvidas, highlighting his exceptional elegance, his ear-warming tembre and astounding acting… The singer himself meanwhile admits that he has most fun singing when “I can feel the drops of perspiration on my forehead” and can simply share a bouquet of his most loved works with you!

Program features Liszt, Debussy, Chausson, etc.

Concert duration: 75 min.
