Eichmann in Jerusalem
September 28, 29
Russian Drama Theatre of Lithuania, 19:00
Empty stage – no props, costumes, or video projections. No noise, nothing unnecessary – it seems that the director stripped the show off its theatrical clothes un purpose, and left the actors to simply be in front of the audience. By renouncing a number of theatrical elements in the show paradoxically as it may seem – it actually exposes how theatrical our lives are: from the trial of Adolf Eichmann to nowadays environment where fascist rhetoric is getting louder. — Kristina Savickienė
