For You Vilnius!

HANDICRAFT EXHIBITION, FAIR AND CONCERT OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

1st of September, from 10.15 till 17.00 at the Cathedral square

It has become a beautiful tradition for each Autumn during the Vilnius City Fiesta to organise a fair-concert for the republic community of the disabled called „For you – Vilnius!”. Since 2003 this event is organised by the Lithuanian special creation union “Guboja”. The event is partly financed from funds of the Department of disability affairs near the Social security and labour ministry. Since this year the event has grown to entire fairs of the disabled community called „Būkime kartu!“ („Let‘s be together“). The fairs were held in different regions of the country.
The festivity „For you Vilnius!” which is organised for the 14th time is a chance for people with disabilities to show their creative achievements and strength of will to the society. It is foreseen that about 1500 authors with disabilities from more than a 100 organisations will participate.
