Swedish bassist Lars Danielsson has been a major part of the northern European jazz scene since the mid 1980’s releasing over twenty albums as well as appearing on many others as a sideman. He’s also a prolific composer and last year he released the album ‘Cloudland’ to much acclaim on the German ACT label. It’s music from this album that he performed with his ‘Libretto’ group with Gregory Privat on piano, Krister Jonsson on guitar and drummer Magnus Ostrom.
